As one of the four directors at Netstarter it brings me great pleasure to say that 2010 was a monumental year for us. We achieved some fantastic milestones which we felt were worthy of a post on our blog. 2010 was a big year for the Internet too (we say this every year but it's true). The digital arena is changing continually with new exciting ideas that revolutionise the way we work, communicate and socialise. Google and Facebook continue to dominate the headlines but retailing newcomers like Groupon, Kogan Technologies and Catch of the Day are starting to attract serious amounts of attention and scare the bigwig bricks and mortar retailers. It's great to be a part of such a vibrant and dynamic industry and our achievements below are directly attributed to the great team we have working here.

Growth
We achieved 53% growth in 2010 which resulted in our Sydney team growing from 17 to 29 full time staff.

Digital Marketing
In 2010 we started up our digital marketing division which quickly grew to 6 full time staff working across SEO, PPC, Display and Social Media.

Awards
We won not 1 but 2 gold awards at the prestigious W3 Awards for our work on Hitachi's Ultra Short Throw projector microsite. We also made the Deloitte Fast 500 Technology Asia Pacific list on our first attempt.

Clients
We picked up some great new clients in 2010 including JVC, Bodytrim, Mortgage Choice and Sara Lee.

With some exciting technology and business developments underway at Netstarter we are excited to see what 2011 brings.
