Netstarter is an award-winning, Sydney-based, digital agency with a reputation for producing innovative and successful websites, ecommerce sites, social media campaigns, Facebook pages, applications and just about anything else digital.

The Founding Four


Craig Shotland  
Craig started his digital career at PwC back in 1999. Since then Craig has worked for EDS, Arthur Andersen & BearingPoint before founding Netstarter in 2004. Awarded a scholarship to UTS Craig completed a Bachelor of Information Technology. He heads up Operations at Netstarter.

Justin Milwidsky  
Justin co-founded Netstarter in 2004.

shaun polovin  
Shaun worked at MYOB, Dimension Data and BT Financial following a scholarship degree in Business Information Technology at UNSW. He heads up the creative and digital strategy for Netstarter.

michael rom  
Michael was awarded a full scholarship to UNSW and later worked at Dimension Data in Enterprise Services. He acts as Solution Architect for major projects, leading the Development and Implementation team at Netstarter. As a Chartered Accountant, Michael also acts as Financial Controller.

Our Office

The story so far..

In February 2004, four friends from digital marketing, design and business consulting backgrounds got together to form Netstarter. We started by developing our own CMS technology (that now runs over 2,500 websites) before branching out, dipping our toes into every possible digital pond. Since then we've grown to a team of over 50, secured key blue-chip clients, won a bunch of awards and generally had a great time doing what we love.
