Uploading
Uploading is the process of copying files from your computer to a remote location. The duration of uploading will depend on the size of the file, the speed of your internet connection and the amount of internet traffic.
URL
URL is the acronym of Uniform Resource Locator. The function of the URL is to supply the internet address of a given website along with the protocol by which the resource is accessed. The most popularly used URL type is ‘http’.
Usability
Usability refers to the user friendliness of a given website.
Validation
Validation refers to the procedure of comparing data against a standard or requirement.
Web Page
A web page refers to a page on a given website which includes the home page of a website.
Web Site
The term web site refers to a complete site which is located on the World Wide Web. Generally each web site will consist of a home page at which the website opens, as well as a few other web pages.
World Wide Web (WWW)
The World Wide Web enables the accessing of online information. The networked files on the World Wide Web may be accessed by using a software viewer or browser.
